QUALIFICATIONS

·        Bachelor of Science in Nursing

·        Registered Nurse in good standing (or eligible to become registered) with Sask. Registered Nurses Association.

·        Minimum 3 years in community health nursing experience in First Nations community an asset.

·        Demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues facing First Nations people

·        Good understanding of population health principles and concepts

·        Must be able to work as an effective team member and to work independently, in a self- motivated manner.

·        Excellent interpersonal communication skills

·        Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

·        Must possess Valid driver’s license

·        Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures.

·        Must provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector

·        Must be computer literate

Hours of Work: 8:30to 4:30, Monday to Friday

Vehicle provided.
