QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in bachelor's or Master Nursing
- Three years of expertise in Home Care and direct Diabetes, Cardiovascular and other chronic diseases with direct education experience
- Certification as a Diabetes Educator with the Canadian Diabetes Association
- To be a registered nurse in good standing with the College of Registration Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- CPR and First Aid
- Understand the principles of trauma informed care and how to create safe spaces for clients
- Excellent communication skills-written and oral
- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and strong interpersonal skills, being able to work collaboratively with a team
- Knowledge of the organization (strategic priories, values, goals, services, and programs), health care and First Nations culture
- A clear understanding of disease prevention, health promotion
- A successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector
