QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in bachelor's or Master Nursing
• Three years of expertise in Home Care and direct Diabetes, Cardiovascular and other chronic diseases with direct education experience
• Certification as a Diabetes Educator with the Canadian Diabetes Association
• To be a registered nurse in good standing with the College of Registration Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
• CPR and First Aid
• Understand the principles of trauma informed care and how to create safe spaces for clients
• Excellent communication skills-written and oral
• Demonstrate leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and strong interpersonal skills, being able to work collaboratively with a team
• Knowledge of the organization (strategic priories, values, goals, services, and programs), health care and First Nations culture
• A clear understanding of disease prevention, health promotion
• A successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector
