QUALIFICATIONS,SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

•  Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Registered Nurse in good standing (or eligible to become registered) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan
• Minimum 3 years in community health nursing experience in First Nations community an asset.
• Good understanding of population health principles and concepts
• Must be able to work as an effective team member and to work independently, in a self-motivated manner.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to travel and possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license, work flexible hours, possibility of some evenings and some weekends
• Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures. Knowledge of Plains Cree Language is a definite asset.
• Must provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) Publisher, and technological platforms such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx etc.

Hours of Work: 8:30 to 4:30, Monday to Friday

Vehicle provided.

Six Step Salary Range: $82,591.60 - $98,079.80
