Temporary Full Time Community Health Nurse - Poundmaker
The Community Health Nurse (CHN) position is part of a multidisciplinary team that provides client focused, family centered care, to individual's families and communities of BRT6HC. The CHN shall apply knowledge, skills and professional judgement as it relates to health education, health promotion, prevention and screening. As directed by the Medical Health Officer (MHO) of Indigenous Services of Canada (ISC), the Public Health model and concepts of primary health services, the CHN utilizes the nursing process by assessing health needs, epidemiological data, identifying client’s needs and establishes a plan of care for individuals, families, and communities in the areas of Communicable Disease Control, Maternal/Child Health, and School Health.

KidsFirst Home Visitor - 1
Under the direction of the Home Visiting Supervisor, the HOME VISITOR will provide services to families and expectant mothers within the Battlefords through ongoing home visits and linking families to other existing services in the community. Part of the role will include assisting with the facilitation in early childhood development groups.
Chronic Conditions Nurse-Permanent Full Time
Reporting directly to the Home Care Supervisor, this position is part of a multidisciplinary team that provides client focused, family centered care to individual’s families and communities of BRT6HC. The Chronic Conditions Nurse (CCN) is responsible to provide expertise education and guidance to the Chronic Conditions Team, work with the team to establish care strategies for chronic diseases that are prevalent in the community, plan and develop, as well as implement and direct, a program that provides client centered care for chronic disease management. The CCN coordinates a database of statistics and narratives for tracking progress and efficacy of treatments and program outcomes.
Senior Finance Officer
The Senior Finance Officer will work under the direction and supervision of the Finance Manager within the Finance and Operations Department, and is responsible for providing financial coordination and assisting in the management of the financial function for Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre Inc. The role of the Senior Finance Officer involves providing financial and administrative support to management, colleagues, and stakeholders. The duty of this position is to provide a full range of accounting and payroll services which support accurate and efficient operations of the finance department as well as general accounting and financial reporting. The Finance and Operations Department are responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective administrative support system for the operations of Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre Inc. therefore the Senior Finance Officer will be expected to work in a team environment.
