Competencies and Qualifications‍

• Minimum Grade 12 or an acceptable equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' janitorial and light maintenance experience
• Must possess a valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in the use of carpet cleaner, vacuum cleaner, stripping/floor waxing equipment, tools
• Must provide a successful current criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
• High degree of confidentiality is essential; must have the ability to adhere to confidentiality guidelines
• Must have a reliable method of transportation to and from work
• Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures.
