Program Overview

Role of the Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC):

Works with communities to create emergency management plans, encompassing the five areas of Emergency Management:

  • Prevention
  • Mitigation
  • Preparation
  • Response  
  • Recovery
  • Work with Community leadership’s and BRT6HC staff on emergency preparedness
  • Liaison with Community, Regional, Provincial and Federal partners 
  • Training others on emergency preparedness and emergency procedures.
